Vestal is the closest town to main campus. Downtown Binghamton rides OCCT: the published bus time downtown to main campus is about 14 to 22 minutes, worst runs 30 to 35, and door-to-door is usually 30 to 45. The ride is free with a BU ID. Fifteen minutes to campus is the line that needs a real week attached to it. We do not own a Vestal apartment, so we do not rank Vestal rents. Before you sign one of ours, walk from the unit to the stop you would use. Ride at the hour you would leave for class or a lab. Evenings thin out. Winter changes the math. If you can, do one ride when it is ugly out. Test the ride before you sign. Front Street street parking is how people lose a car to a snow-emergency tow. The gated lot at 91 Front Street is the monthly pass.
We rent full apartments: downtown studios at 8 Main, two-beds at 11 Main, and Mason Hall in Johnson City. Occupancy is in the lease. The old off-campus note describes West Side group houses and an academic-year lease as a different product. We do not own a West Side apartment.
