Relocating from New York City to Binghamton

We lease apartments in downtown Binghamton and Johnson City. We do not sell houses, and we do not own a unit in Vestal or Endwell.

People arriving from the city are often here for Binghamton University or UHS. The apartments we own are studios at 8 Main, two-bedrooms at 11 Main, one-bedrooms at 81 Court Street, and two-bedrooms at Mason Hall and 291 Riverside Drive.

Tour before you pay the $45 Zillow fee. Downtown is the walk and the bus. Mason Hall includes heat, hot water, sewer, trash, and internet. The Main Street listings do not say heat is included.

Is Binghamton cheaper than New York City?

On our list, studios start about $780 to $810. Those listings do not say heat is included. The highest rent we charge is about $1,700 at Riverside. You still need a car and a winter plan.

Where do NYC relocators usually live?

From us: downtown if you want to walk, Johnson City if you drive to the hospital. We do not own apartments in Vestal, Endwell, or Endicott.

How bad is the winter?

Budget for it and you will be fine. Snow-emergency parking rules are not optional. If you live on Front Street, get a lot pass.
